Threads are used in joining ply of fabric during making garments.
Yarns are less strong than thread.
Threads are stronger than yarn.
Generally, the yarn is heavy in weight than thread.
Generally, the thread is lighter in weight than yarn.
Yarns are used for weaving fabrics, Knitting fabrics, and making the thread.
Threads are used for stitching products.
Yarn is thinner than thread.
Thread is thicker than yarn.
Yarns are sold in bigger package
Generally, threads are sold in a small package.
